Daibutsuden
The Daibutsuden, or Great Buddha Hall, is a significant structure located in Nara Park, Japan. It houses the famous Great Buddha statue, known as Nara's Great Buddha or Todai-ji Daibutsu. This hall is part of the Todai-ji temple complex, which was established in the 8th century and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The current Daibutsuden is a reconstruction completed in 1709, as the original hall was much larger but was destroyed by fire. It is one of the largest wooden buildings in the world, showcasing traditional Japanese architecture and attracting many visitors each year.
