Todai-ji Daibutsu
The Todai-ji Daibutsu, or Great Buddha of Todai-ji, is a monumental bronze statue located in Nara, Japan. Completed in 752 AD, it stands approximately 15 meters tall and is housed in the Great Buddha Hall, one of the largest wooden structures in the world. The statue represents Vairocana Buddha, symbolizing enlightenment and the unity of all beings.
