Daf
The term "Daf" refers to a page of the Talmud, a central text in Rabbinic Judaism. Each Daf consists of two sides, known as the recto and verso, and is part of a larger structure that includes the Mishnah and Gemara. The study of Daf is a key practice in Jewish learning, often done in pairs or groups.
Daf Yomi is a popular method of studying the Talmud, where participants learn one Daf each day. This practice allows individuals to complete the entire Talmud in approximately seven and a half years. The Daf Yomi cycle has gained a global following, fostering community and engagement in Jewish scholarship.
