DPDT Switch
A DPDT switch, or Double Pole Double Throw switch, is an electrical component that can control two separate circuits simultaneously. It has two input terminals and can connect to two different output terminals, allowing for versatile control of electrical devices. This switch can be used to reverse the direction of motors or to toggle between two different power sources.
The DPDT switch has six terminals: two for each pole and two for each throw. When the switch is flipped, it connects the input terminals to the desired output terminals, making it useful in various applications, including electronic circuits and home automation systems.
