Cuban Navy
The Cuban Navy, officially known as the Revolutionary Navy of Cuba, is the naval branch of the Cuban Armed Forces. It is responsible for protecting Cuba's maritime interests and territorial waters. The navy operates a variety of vessels, including patrol boats and support ships, and plays a role in search and rescue operations, as well as anti-drug trafficking efforts.
Established after the Cuban Revolution in 1959, the navy has undergone modernization and restructuring over the years. It collaborates with other branches of the military and engages in joint exercises with allied nations, reflecting Cuba's strategic military partnerships, particularly with countries like Russia and Venezuela.
