Crohn
Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammatory condition that primarily affects the digestive tract. It can cause inflammation in any part of the gastrointestinal tract, from the mouth to the anus, but is most commonly found in the ileum (the last part of the small intestine) and the colon (large intestine). Symptoms may include abdominal pain, diarrhea, fatigue, and weight loss.
The exact cause of Crohn's disease is not fully understood, but it is believed to involve a combination of genetic, environmental, and immune system factors. There is currently no cure, but treatments such as medications and lifestyle changes can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
