Cospicua
Cospicua is a historic town located in the Cottonera area of Malta. It is one of the three cities, along with Vittoriosa and Senglea, that were fortified by the Knights of St. John in the 16th century. Cospicua is known for its well-preserved architecture, including the impressive Bormla Bastion and the Church of the Immaculate Conception.
The town has a rich maritime history, as it is situated along the Grand Harbour. Cospicua's strategic location made it an important naval base during various historical periods, including the Great Siege of Malta in 1565. Today, it is a vibrant community with a mix of residential areas and local businesses.
