Contribution-based JSA
Contribution-based JSA (Jobseeker's Allowance) is a type of financial support available in the United Kingdom for individuals who have paid enough National Insurance contributions. It is designed to help those who are actively seeking work and can provide proof of their job search efforts. This allowance is typically available for up to six months.
To qualify for Contribution-based JSA, applicants must have made sufficient contributions in the two tax years prior to their claim. Unlike Income-based JSA, this benefit is not means-tested, meaning it does not consider the applicant's savings or partner's income.
