Constitution of 1925
The Constitution of 1925 was a significant legal document in Iran that established a framework for governance following the Persian Constitutional Revolution of 1906. It aimed to create a parliamentary system, ensuring the separation of powers among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches. This constitution sought to promote civil rights and modernize the political structure of the country.
The 1925 constitution replaced the previous constitutional framework and introduced reforms to strengthen the central government. It also emphasized the importance of national sovereignty and aimed to reduce foreign influence in Iran. However, it faced challenges and was eventually replaced by the Constitution of 1963.
