The Confédération suisse, or Swiss Confederation, is a landlocked country located in Central Europe. It is known for its picturesque landscapes, including the Alps, and its four official languages: German, French, Italian, and Romansh. Switzerland is a federal state composed of 26 cantons, each with its own constitution and government.
