Communist Party of Bulgaria
The Communist Party of Bulgaria (CPB) is a political party in Bulgaria that was founded in 1990, following the fall of the socialist regime. It emerged from the former Bulgarian Communist Party, which ruled the country from 1946 until 1989. The CPB aims to promote Marxist-Leninist principles and advocates for social justice, workers' rights, and state ownership of key industries.
The party has faced challenges in gaining significant political influence since its establishment. It has participated in various elections but has struggled to secure a substantial number of seats in the National Assembly of Bulgaria. Despite this, the CPB continues to be active in promoting its ideology and engaging with leftist movements.
