Cochimi People
The Cochimi people are an indigenous group from the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico. Historically, they lived in small communities along the coast and relied on fishing, hunting, and gathering for their sustenance. Their culture was influenced by their environment, which included deserts and coastal areas.
Today, the Cochimi are considered a nearly extinct group, with few remaining speakers of their language. Efforts are being made to preserve their heritage and history, as well as to recognize their contributions to the cultural landscape of the region.
