Clemens August
Clemens August was a prominent figure in the 18th century, known for his role as the Archbishop-Elector of Cologne. Born on February 2, 1700, he served from 1723 until his death in 1761. His leadership was marked by efforts to strengthen the Catholic Church in Germany and to promote education and the arts.
