Civil Trials
Civil trials are legal proceedings where disputes between individuals or organizations are resolved in a court. These cases often involve issues such as contracts, property, or personal injury. The party bringing the case, known as the plaintiff, seeks compensation or specific performance from the other party, called the defendant.
During a civil trial, both sides present evidence and arguments to a judge or jury. The judge or jury then makes a decision based on the facts and applicable law. Unlike criminal trials, civil trials do not involve criminal charges or penalties, focusing instead on resolving private disputes.
