Christian VII of Denmark
Christian VII of Denmark was born on January 29, 1749, and became king in 1766 at the age of 17. His reign was marked by mental health issues, which affected his ability to govern effectively. Despite his challenges, he was a patron of the arts and supported various cultural initiatives during his time on the throne.
His reign saw significant political changes, including the rise of influential figures like Struensee, who served as his advisor. Christian VII's rule ended with his death on March 13, 1808, and he was succeeded by his son, Frederick VI of Denmark.
