Ippolita Maria Sforza
Ippolita Maria Sforza was a noblewoman born in 1445, part of the influential Sforza family in Milan. She was the daughter of Francesco Sforza, the Duke of Milan, and Bianca Maria Visconti. Ippolita was known for her intelligence and education, which was notable for women of her time.
In 1465, Ippolita married Giorgio di Montfort, a member of the Montfort family. Their union was politically significant, strengthening alliances between noble families. Ippolita Maria Sforza passed away in 1488, leaving a legacy as a cultured and educated woman in the Renaissance period.
