Charles Vane
Charles Vane was a notorious English pirate active during the early 18th century, particularly known for his exploits in the Caribbean Sea. He was born around 1680 and became infamous for his ruthless tactics and defiance against colonial authorities. Vane was a captain of the pirate ship Ranger and later the Queen Anne's Revenge, where he led a crew that engaged in numerous acts of piracy.
Vane's career was marked by his ability to evade capture and his confrontations with other pirates, including Blackbeard. However, his luck eventually ran out when he was captured by the British Navy in 1721. He was tried and executed in 1721, becoming a symbol of the violent and adventurous life of piracy during the Golden Age of Piracy.
