Chanonry Lighthouse
Chanonry Lighthouse is located on the Black Isle in Scotland, near the entrance to Moray Firth. It was built in 1846 and designed by the engineer Robert Stevenson. The lighthouse stands 20 meters tall and features a distinctive white tower with a black lantern.
The lighthouse's primary purpose is to guide ships safely through the waters of the Moray Firth. It has a range of 24 nautical miles and emits a flashing light every 10 seconds. Today, Chanonry Lighthouse is a popular spot for tourists and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and wildlife, including bottlenose dolphins.
