Chang'e program
The Chang'e program is a series of Chinese space missions aimed at exploring the Moon. Named after the Chinese moon goddess Chang'e, the program began in 2004 and includes several successful missions, such as Chang'e 3, which landed on the Moon in 2013, and Chang'e 4, the first mission to land on the far side of the Moon in 2019.
The program's objectives include lunar exploration, sample collection, and scientific research. Chang'e 5, launched in 2020, successfully returned lunar samples to Earth, marking a significant achievement in China's space exploration efforts. The program aims to enhance our understanding of the Moon and support future human missions.
