Cham script
The Cham script is a writing system used by the Cham people, an ethnic group primarily found in Vietnam and Cambodia. This script is derived from the ancient Brahmi script and has been used for centuries to write the Cham language, which belongs to the Austronesian language family.
Cham script consists of 16 vowels and 33 consonants, allowing for a rich representation of sounds. It is primarily used for religious texts, poetry, and cultural documentation, reflecting the history and traditions of the Cham civilization. Despite its historical significance, the use of Cham script has declined in modern times.
