Cecilia of Austria
Cecilia of Austria was born on July 1, 1496, and was a member of the Habsburg dynasty. She was the daughter of Philip the Handsome and Joanna of Castile. Cecilia became a nun and was known for her piety and dedication to religious life.
In 1515, Cecilia entered the Carmelite convent in Brussels, where she lived until her death on April 27, 1555. Her life was marked by her commitment to her faith and her family's legacy, as the Habsburgs were influential in European politics during her time.
