Catherine Parr
Catherine Parr was the sixth and final wife of King Henry VIII of England. She married Henry in 1543 and played a significant role in his later years, particularly in promoting the Protestant faith. Catherine was known for her intelligence and strong character, often acting as a mediator in the royal court.
After Henry's death in 1547, Catherine married Thomas Seymour, the brother of Henry's third wife, Jane Seymour. She became a widow again in 1548 and later died in 1548 after giving birth to her only child. Catherine Parr is remembered for her contributions to the English Reformation and her influence on the royal family.
