Casuarina Tree
The Casuarina tree, also known as the she-oak, is a fast-growing evergreen tree native to Australia and Southeast Asia. It features slender, needle-like leaves that resemble pine needles, giving it a unique appearance. Casuarina trees are often found in coastal areas and are known for their ability to tolerate salty conditions and poor soil.
These trees can reach heights of up to 35 meters and are commonly used for windbreaks, erosion control, and reforestation projects. The Casuarina species also provide habitat for various wildlife and are valued for their durable wood, which is used in furniture and construction.
