Cashibo-Cacataibo language
The Cashibo-Cacataibo language is an indigenous language spoken by the Cashibo and Cacataibo peoples in the Peru region. It belongs to the Panoan language family, which includes several other languages spoken in the Amazon rainforest.
This language is primarily used in daily communication among the communities and is an essential part of their cultural identity. Efforts are being made to preserve and revitalize the Cashibo-Cacataibo language, as many indigenous languages face the threat of extinction due to globalization and cultural assimilation.
