Cashibo Language
Cashibo Language is an indigenous language spoken by the Cashibo people in the Amazon rainforest of Peru. It belongs to the Panoan language family, which includes several other languages spoken in the region. The language is primarily oral, with efforts being made to document and preserve it through written forms.
The Cashibo people have a rich cultural heritage, and their language reflects their connection to the land and their traditions. As with many indigenous languages, Cashibo faces challenges due to globalization and the dominance of Spanish in the region, prompting initiatives to revitalize and maintain its use among younger generations.
