Cape Arago Lighthouse
Cape Arago Lighthouse is located on the southern coast of Oregon, near the town of Coos Bay. Built in 1866, it was designed to guide ships safely through the rocky waters of the Pacific Ocean. The lighthouse stands on a cliff, offering a stunning view of the coastline and surrounding natural beauty.
The lighthouse was decommissioned in 2006 and is now part of the Cape Arago State Park. Although it is not open to the public, visitors can enjoy the scenic views from the park and learn about the lighthouse's history through informational displays.
