Cajeput tree
The Cajeput tree, scientifically known as Melaleuca cajuputi, is a medium-sized tree native to tropical and subtropical regions of Australia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Islands. It typically grows up to 30 meters tall and features a distinctive white bark that peels off in strips. The tree thrives in wet, swampy areas and is often found near rivers and lakes.
Cajeput trees are known for their aromatic leaves, which contain essential oils used in traditional medicine and aromatherapy. The oil extracted from the leaves has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, making it popular for treating respiratory issues and skin conditions.
