Caecilia
Caecilia is a genus of amphibians known as caecilians, which are legless and resemble large worms or snakes. They are primarily found in tropical regions of Africa, Asia, and South America. Caecilians are unique among amphibians due to their elongated bodies and burrowing lifestyle, often living underground in moist soil or leaf litter.
These creatures have a distinct appearance, with smooth, slimy skin that helps them retain moisture. Caecilians are also known for their ability to sense vibrations in the ground, which aids in locating prey. They primarily feed on small invertebrates, such as earthworms and insects.
