Caecilians
Caecilians are a group of limbless, burrowing amphibians found primarily in tropical regions. They belong to the order Gymnophiona and are characterized by their elongated, cylindrical bodies and smooth, moist skin. Caecilians can vary in size, with some species reaching over a meter in length. They primarily inhabit soil or leaf litter, where they hunt for small invertebrates.
These creatures have a unique method of reproduction, with some laying eggs while others give birth to live young. Caecilians possess a keen sense of smell, using their tentacle-like structures to detect prey and navigate their underground environments.
