Cachapas
Cachapas are traditional Venezuelan corn pancakes made from fresh corn kernels. They are typically sweet and have a slightly grainy texture, which comes from the use of whole corn rather than cornmeal. The batter is often mixed with a bit of sugar and salt, then cooked on a hot griddle until golden brown.
These pancakes are commonly served with queso de mano, a soft, white cheese that melts beautifully when placed on top. Cachapas can be enjoyed as a breakfast dish or a snack and are popular at street food stalls and restaurants throughout Venezuela.
