Buttercups
Buttercups are bright yellow flowers belonging to the genus Ranunculus. They are commonly found in meadows, fields, and gardens across many regions. These flowers typically bloom in spring and early summer, attracting various pollinators like bees and butterflies. Buttercups thrive in well-drained soil and can grow in both sunny and partially shaded areas.
The leaves of buttercups are usually deeply lobed and grow close to the ground. While they are beautiful, some species of buttercups contain toxins that can be harmful if ingested by livestock or pets. Despite this, they are often appreciated for their cheerful appearance in natural landscapes and floral arrangements.
