Broad Jump
The Broad Jump, also known as the long jump, is a track and field event where athletes attempt to jump as far as possible from a takeoff point. Competitors run down a runway and leap into the air, landing in a designated pit filled with sand. The distance is measured from the takeoff line to the nearest point of landing in the pit.
This event tests an athlete's speed, strength, and technique. It is commonly featured in competitions like the Olympics and World Athletics Championships. Athletes often use a combination of speed and explosive power to achieve maximum distance in their jumps.
