Brinks Job
The Brinks Job refers to a notorious robbery that took place in 1956 in Boston, Massachusetts. A group of armed men, posing as police officers, managed to steal $1.2 million in cash and valuables from the Brinks Armored Car Depot. This heist is considered one of the largest in U.S. history and involved meticulous planning and execution.
The robbery was carried out by a gang led by Anthony "Tony" Ricci, who had inside knowledge of the depot's operations. Despite the scale of the crime, many of the robbers were eventually caught, and the stolen money was largely recovered. The event remains a significant case in the history of organized crime.
