Brahui Language
The Brahui language is a Dravidian language primarily spoken in the Balochistan region of Pakistan. It is unique among Dravidian languages as it is geographically isolated from other Dravidian-speaking areas, which are mainly in southern India. Brahui has several dialects and is used by the Brahui people, who have a rich cultural heritage.
Brahui is written in the Arabic script and has borrowed vocabulary from Persian, Arabic, and Urdu. Despite its small number of speakers, the language plays a crucial role in the identity of the Brahui community. Efforts are being made to preserve and promote Brahui through education and literature.
