Black Stone
The Black Stone is a significant religious artifact located in the eastern corner of the Kaaba, a cube-shaped structure in the center of the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is believed to date back to the time of Adam and is revered by Muslims as a symbol of God's covenant with humanity. The stone is approximately 30 centimeters in diameter and is encased in a silver frame.
During the Hajj pilgrimage, millions of Muslims attempt to touch or kiss the Black Stone as part of their rituals. It is said to have originally been white but turned black due to the sins of humanity. The Black Stone serves as a focal point for prayer and unity among Muslims worldwide.
