Bhai Mardana
Bhai Mardana was a prominent figure in the early days of Sikhism and a close companion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh Guru. Born in 1459 in a Muslim family in Talwandi, he was a skilled musician and played the rabab, a stringed instrument.
