Beta Ceti
Beta Ceti, also known as Diphda, is a bright star located in the constellation of Cetus. It is classified as a giant star and is approximately 96 light-years away from Earth. With an apparent magnitude of about 3.5, it is one of the more prominent stars in its constellation.
This star is notable for its yellow-orange hue, indicating its surface temperature of around 5,200 Kelvin. Beta Ceti is about 10 times more massive than the Sun and has expanded to a size roughly 80 times that of our star. Its characteristics make it an interesting object of study in stellar evolution.
