Alpha Ceti
Alpha Ceti, also known as Aldebaran, is the brightest star in the constellation Taurus. It is approximately 65 light-years away from Earth and is classified as a red giant star. Aldebaran is notable for its distinct orange hue, which is a result of its cooler surface temperature compared to hotter stars.
This star is part of the Hyades star cluster, although it is not a member of the cluster itself. Alpha Ceti has a diameter about 44 times that of the Sun and is around 1.5 billion years old. Its brightness and position make it a prominent feature in the night sky.
