Bertha Krupp
Bertha Krupp was a prominent German industrialist born on April 18, 1886, in Essen, Germany. She was the daughter of Alfred Krupp, the founder of the Krupp steel company, which played a significant role in the industrialization of Germany. After her father's death in 1902, Bertha became the head of the family business, overseeing its operations and expansion.
In 1906, Bertha married Gustav Krupp, who later took over the company. Under her leadership, the Krupp firm continued to grow, becoming one of the largest arms manufacturers in Europe. Bertha Krupp's influence on the industrial landscape of Germany was significant until her death on January 3, 1957.
