Bernadotte
Bernadotte refers to the House of Bernadotte, a royal family in Sweden that originated from Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte, a French general during the Napoleonic Wars. In 1810, he was elected as the Crown Prince of Sweden and later became King Charles XIV John of Sweden. His reign marked the beginning of a new dynasty that continues to this day.
The House of Bernadotte has played a significant role in Swedish history, promoting peace and stability in the region. Today, the current monarch is King Carl XVI Gustaf, who has been on the throne since 1973, continuing the legacy of the Bernadotte family in modern Sweden.
