Berengar IV
Berengar IV was a notable Italian nobleman who lived during the 10th century. He was born around 900 and became the Duke of Friuli and later the King of Italy. His reign was marked by political struggles and conflicts with other powerful families and the Holy Roman Empire.
Berengar IV is best known for his attempts to consolidate power in northern Italy. He faced challenges from rival factions, including the Ottonian dynasty, which sought to expand their influence in the region. His rule ended in 966 when he was defeated and captured, leading to the decline of his authority.
