Bengal tigers
The Bengal tiger is a subspecies of tiger found primarily in India, with smaller populations in Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan. Known for their striking orange coat with black stripes, they are the largest wild cats in the world. Bengal tigers typically weigh between 220 to 660 pounds and can reach lengths of up to 10 feet, including their tail.
These tigers are solitary animals, preferring to hunt alone. Their diet mainly consists of large prey such as deer and wild boar. Unfortunately, the Bengal tiger is classified as endangered due to habitat loss and poaching, making conservation efforts crucial for their survival.
