Belch
A belch, also known as burping, is the release of gas from the stomach through the mouth. This process occurs when air is swallowed while eating or drinking, or when gas builds up in the stomach. Belching helps to relieve discomfort caused by excess gas and can be a normal bodily function.
While belching is common, excessive belching may indicate digestive issues or other health concerns. Foods and drinks that are carbonated, such as soda, can increase the likelihood of belching. Maintaining good eating habits, like eating slowly, can help reduce the occurrence of belching.
