Beatrix of Bourbon
Beatrix of Bourbon was a French noblewoman born in 1340. She belonged to the House of Bourbon, a prominent family in medieval France. Beatrix was the daughter of Louis I, Duke of Bourbon and Marie of Avesnes. She played a significant role in the political landscape of her time through her marriage alliances.
In 1356, Beatrix married John II of France, which strengthened ties between the Bourbon family and the French crown. Her marriage produced several children, including Charles V of France. Beatrix's lineage contributed to the rise of the Bourbon dynasty, which would later become influential in French history.
