Baseball Field
A baseball field is a large, open area designed for the game of baseball. It typically features a diamond-shaped layout with four bases: home plate, first base, second base, and third base. The infield is the area within the diamond, while the outfield extends beyond the bases. The field is usually made of grass and dirt, with a pitcher's mound located in the center of the infield.
The dimensions of a baseball field can vary, but the distance from home plate to the outfield fence is generally between 300 to 400 feet. The field is surrounded by foul lines that help determine fair and foul balls. Dugouts for players and coaches are located on either side of the field, providing a place for teams to rest during the game.
