Bardi Language
The Bardi language is an Indigenous Australian language spoken by the Bardi people, who are native to the northern part of Western Australia. It belongs to the Pama-Nyungan language family and is primarily used in the communities around the Bardi Jawi Indigenous Corporation.
Bardi is considered a critically endangered language, with only a small number of fluent speakers remaining. Efforts are being made to revitalize the language through educational programs and community initiatives, aiming to preserve the cultural heritage of the Bardi people for future generations.
