Bardi People
The Bardi People are an Indigenous group from the northern coast of Western Australia. They traditionally inhabit the area around One Arm Point and the Bardi Islands. Their culture is deeply connected to the land and sea, relying on fishing, hunting, and gathering for sustenance.
The Bardi have a rich cultural heritage, including unique languages, stories, and art forms. They actively engage in preserving their traditions while also participating in modern economic activities, such as tourism and environmental management, to sustain their community and promote their cultural identity.
