Bangladesh National Cricket Team
The Bangladesh National Cricket Team represents Bangladesh in international cricket. Established in 1971, the team became a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2000, allowing them to compete in all formats of the game. They play their home matches at various venues, with the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka being one of the most prominent.
The team has made significant progress over the years, achieving notable successes in both One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Their first major achievement came in 1997 when they won the ICC KnockOut Trophy, marking their emergence on the global cricket stage.
