Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium
The Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium is located in Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It serves as the home ground for the Bangladesh national cricket team and has a seating capacity of around 25,000 spectators. The stadium was inaugurated in 2006 and has since hosted numerous international matches, including Test, One Day Internationals, and T20 games.
Designed by architect Rashid Khan, the stadium features modern facilities and has become a key venue for cricket in Bangladesh. It is named after A. K. Fazlul Huq, a prominent political leader known as "Sher-e-Bangla," which means "Tiger of Bengal."
