Bandura
Albert Bandura was a Canadian-American psychologist known for his work in social learning theory and cognitive psychology. He introduced the concept of observational learning, which suggests that people can learn new behaviors by watching others. His famous experiment with the Bobo doll demonstrated how children imitate aggressive behavior they observe in adults.
Bandura also developed the idea of self-efficacy, which refers to an individual's belief in their ability to succeed in specific situations. This concept has been influential in various fields, including education, health, and psychology, as it helps explain how people set goals and overcome challenges.
